If Activision stripped all of the cutscenes from StarCraft II, pasted them together into one big movie and charged between 20 to 30 dollars for you to buy it, would you pay? Activision's Bobby Kotick thinks you would. More »

not for 20-30 bucks but maybe if it was cheaper and it flowed like a movie, not like a bunch of cutscene clips back to back.
I remember the "cutscene" option way back in games like Perfect Dark and Kirby 64, and I remember seeing my nephews find one in the more recent Lego games.
IMO they should make a cutscene option standard, but this is Activision we're talking about here. The odds of them using a good idea are about the same as Square-Enix giving a shit about its fans again.
They'll make money off the MW2 playerbase, as they lack the ability to play through any game that requires more strategy than shooting, throwing grenades, abusing glitches, and teabagging.
Not really, most of the MW2 playerbase proclaim themselves as "hardcore gamers" and wouldn't probably actually care enough about the story to even pay for the cutscenes.
You know, isn't this standard in some games?
