Our DC Comics adventures continue this week and we have four more popular characters arriving to LittleBigPlanet. Wonder Woman, The Flash, Solomon Grundy, SHAZAM! And Zatanna will all be available in DC Comics Costume Pack 4!

All of these great costumes can also be purchased individually or if you’re an absolutely mega DC Comics fan and have purchased the DC Comics Season Pass already, they will become available to you to download when the PlayStation Store updates later this week.

We have a couple of celebrations occurring across the globe this week, so there’s a trio of fun costumes being re-released on the PlayStation Store this week to help you celebrate these special occasions!

Chinese New Year Costumes

It’s the Chinese New Year on Friday and our loveable Chinese New Year Sackboy and Sackgirl return with their paper lanterns to mark the arrival of the Year of the Horse!

The LittleBigAudio YouTube Channel has now published a whopping 2,000 videos featuring music composed in LittleBigPlanet by a collection of 88 very talented composers.

To celebrate this incredible milestone, a group of these composers have come together to publish The Great Musical Collaboration Experiment No 2 – One 56 minute track containing the full spectrum of their combined talents.

A big congratulations to the team over at LittleBigAudio, this is an incredible achievement.

Following a LittleBigPlanet appearance by Marvel Comics' most famous characters, DC is getting into the act with the DC Comics Premium Level Pack, a DLC addition that grants Sackboy new abilities, offers new missions, and finally answers the age-old question, "Who would win in a fight: Superman or an ambulatory burlap creature?"

It’s the New Year and we are kicking off 2014 with the release of our second DC Comics Costume Pack. This week we see none other than Batman, Joker, Harley Quinn, Batgirl and Poison Ivy coming to LittleBigPlanet!

It’s December now and everyone is already counting down to Christmas Day! There’s lots of decorating to be done on LittleBigPlanet and you can give your Sackboy or Sackgirl’s collection of festive goodies a rather jolly boost with the Festive Goodies Level Kit.

The good folks over at LBPCentral.com recently held a competition that tasked the community with using their creative skills in either LittleBigPlanet 2 or LittleBigPlanet PS Vita to create a single scene of pure, visual eye candy.

Birthday Wishes from the LittleBigPlanet Community

Last week was LittleBigPlanet’s 5th Birthday, and the community was out in full force in celebration, so we wanted to start this week by showing off just a handful of the wonderful cards that we received, all of which were lovingly crafted in LittleBigPlanet itself.

We were all greatly touched by all of the birthday wishes and goodies that were emailed to us and sent to us on Twitter last week, so we just wanted to give a big thank you from all of us, and here’s looking forward to the next five years with our wonderful community!

We saw all sorts of new adventures for brave Sackfolk and some fun party games to play with friends being published in the build-up to Halloween.
