You guys should be reading this. It's incredible.

I feel as if I'm a walking contradiction. I'm, politically, a libertarian leftist, but I reject metaphysical libertarianism in favor of hard determinism, with a bit of ethical naturalism sprinkled in.

I guess the best way to explain myself is that an anarchic status is the most efficient and healthiest status for the human superorganism to thrive under.

I agree completely
One of the key traits of sociopathy is the inability to feel love. However, is it not also possible that "love" is a delusion, fabricated by people insecure with their own will-to-power?

If love does not exist, would that mean everyone is a sociopath, rendering the term "sociopath" meaningless, with the only people who are *not* considered sociopaths by mainstream sources being those who have deluded themselves into thinking otherwise?

**Not saying I think love doesn't exist or anything like that, and I'm not making a value judgment on sociopaths; I just want to get a discussion/argument going.

Fallen Shade

Sure, if we're just considering that one key trait and not all other key traits. Though if we're taking subjective matters into account about love then wouldn't that mean any sort of intuitative assumption regarding what one feels love is be a delusion as well?  You'd have to also assume happiness and relationship fullfillment are also a delusion meaning that the only true socipaths would be the ones that see without delusion.

Vote Crump for President of Digibutter

My platform consists of:

--Advertising the site and expanding its target audience through aesthetic re-evaluation

--Reimplementing features of Old Digi in new and exciting ways (Collectibles, events, etc.)

--Appointing my as-of-yet-unannounced running mates, Nastasia and Gold Prognosticus, to the position of moderator

My experience consists of:

--Moderator of Old Digi

--President of Old Digi

I do not care if Francis approves this or not; I'm running for President anyway.

Fortran
The only part I liked about it was the java game, which you should just make instead of saying you will.
Also dim for president just because it would be funny.

I AM THE WINNAR

IT'S ME

I found a webcomic that's actually--get this--intelligent; while not all webcomics are crap, many of them are little more than crass, lowbrow humor. This one is a bit more sophisticated.

If you're in to science-fiction, science, philosophy, psychology, transhumanism, artificial intelligence, cyberpunk, or anything like that, you'd probably like this comic; it's smart, it's funny, and it just all-around works.

If you purchase classic Game Boy or Game Boy Color games off the 3DS Virtual Console you're a bad person

By all means, PLAY these games, but don't PAY for them. It is unethical to purchase games that are over ten years old because it encourages video game companies to continue attempting to profit off of titles that should be public domain by now. This is bad for the market because it encourages rehashing old content instead of encouraging the developers to develop NEW content.

I don't care what you say. Spore was a great game. Was it a disappointment of Molyneuxian proportions? Well, of course, but that doesn't change the fact that it still provided hours of fun.

Popple
The best part of Spore is that it is actually intelligent design.
So guys, should I replay Demon's Souls, should I replay Dragon Age, or should I actually bother to finish FFXIII

And so we SHALL. Here is my contribution. PROVIDE YOURS AND IT WILL BE A GAME FOR THE AGES

I AM VERY EXCITED

So I'm playing the original NES Kid Icarus
posted by Lord Crump Jun 19 2010 00:12 GMT

...to be completely honest, it isn't that great. I mean, Kid Icarus: Uprising looks fun and all, and I'm looking forward to it, but it baffles me as to why it's being made in the first place when the original game isn't very fun. Kid Icarus NES just isn't very polished; the level design is terrible, the difficulty isn't so much challenging as it is frustrating, and the controls can be blech at times. With that said, I've only been through two stages; does it get any better? Because so far, it isn't as great as some people have made it out to be.

(I am aware that there is a second Kid Icarus title for the Gameboy).

Viddd
Kid Icarus was kinda fun sometimes. Each of the levels had their up points and down points. I'd say more down than up, but it kept interesting enough to keep me playing.

Not that OoT's critical average matters taking factors such as the amount of reviews, how many reviewers were actually credible or are now defunct, etc., but the fandumb's reaction is bound to be entertaining

Fallen Shade
It's not, it's basically jacking off hardcore old school Mario players, nostalgia fags, and people who liked the 1st game. But hey I'm not complaining, it's probably the best 3D platformer thats been on a nintendo console since Banjo Kazooie, and thats saying something.
Red Dead Redemption is amazing and you are all bad people for not playing it.
