Did ye hear? it be got a built-in pedometer! The 3DS measures yer steps as ye walk -- right there in yer pocket! Even better: ye can pull the thing out whenever 'n snap all kinds a pics -- the thing's got three cameras! 'n pillage this: It also pipes out music, browses the internet 'n even plays games.
True, ye've already got a pile a old DS games ('n now defunct DS devices) that ye could be playing on yer new pedometer, but more than 30 three-dee titles be expected t' be released during the 3DS "launch window" (which begins March 27 'n promptly closes at the start a E3 on June 7). We've got 24 a the apparent launch-window releases listed after the break (though Nintendo's being coy about exact dates), including Nintendo's own Nintendogs + cats 'n Pilotwings Resort, plus a hearty helping a third-party support; with notable newcomers, Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked (previously unannounced outside a Japan) 'n Crush 3D, a possible port a the 2007 PSP platforming puzzler from Sega.
Don't look at the date ambiguity in dismay -- see it as an opportunity! Beginning in late March, ye can walk t' 'n from GameStop in anticipation a a new batch a games each Tuesday for ten whole weeks, 'n the 3DS will count yer steps -- each 'n every one a them! 'n just imagine how many Street Passes ye're going t' rack up?

Nintendo's official website for Nintendo World 2011, next month's public showing a the 3DS in Japan, has been updated, now highlighting the full list a games t' be shown during the Tokyo event. Playable versions a everything from MGS3: Snake Eater t' Pilotwings Resort will be on hand, though, bizarrely, some demos that be playable at this year's E3 will be for display only, including Starfox 64 3D.
Nintendo has also announced that the 3DS will make an appearance at next month's World Hobby Fair (also in Japan) 'n at two Japanese outlet shopping centers, according t' 1UP. We suspect ye'd find the shortest lines at those outlets, but, personally, we'd rather take our chances at the Makuhari Messe event t' check out the vast list a titles (found after the break) than watch a few demos at the local Uniqlo.
