You may be shocked to hear this, but the questionable 2011 Green Lantern film had some problems. In seven minutes and forty-nine seconds, the folks at CinemaSins went ahead and tallied the sins in the film. The final number is…. higher than you might be expecting, even if you were expecting a high number. How's everyone doing? Have a good Memorial Day weekend? Playing anything good? Feel free to talk Green Lantern, games, or anything else, here or over at TAY.

#watchthis How the brilliant "On a Budget" trailer series by Table 8 Productions doesn't have a million YouTube views is a mystery to me. Their latest get-together, "The Avengers (on a Budget)," is solid gold, showcasing all of the members of the filmmaking gang in superhero roles. More »

Well, that's one way to boost Blu-Ray sales.

A devastatingly handsome tipster has sent us pictures of the unreleased Green Lantern Extended Cut Blu-Ray combo pack due out on October 14, and wouldn't you know it, right there on the cover is a sticker proclaiming yet another Batman: Arkham City costume.

For those unfamiliar with the Green Lantern mythos, the Sinestro Corps are a team of baddies lead by the ex-Green Lantern Corps member Sinestro (natch). The Sinestro Corps did, at one point, attempt to recruit Batman into their ranks, so we suppose this Sinestro Corps skin isn't entirely non-cannon.

No word from our incredibly popular and good-looking tipster on whether or not the promotion is exclusive to a specific retailer, however it is exclusive to a specific console: Seeing as this is a Blu-Ray and all, the included code is a PSN code, and therefore only functional on PS3 copies of the game.

DC Universe Online gives players their choice of several comic-inspired powers, but one genre of abilities has been notably absent: stretching your body into crazy shapes like Plastic Man. Oh, and the Green Lantern's light powers.

Sony Online Entertainment has decided upon this summer to rectify that missing power set, with the first DCUO DLC, "Fight for the Light." In addition to about a million player-created Lantern types, Hal Jordan and other Green Lantern characters will appear in the $10 DLC. Three new scenarios will also bring players to S.T.A.R. Labs, Hal Jordan's home of Coast City, and the "Sciencells Prison" on the planet of Oa.

If any of those words mean anything to you, and you don't have Green Lantern PTSD from the movie, you'll want to check out the gallery below.

I've led you astray, IGN reader. Back in April, I played Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters from developer Griptonite Games and told you it was cool. Now, after playing the final version, I'm telling you it isn't. That's the difference between a preview and a review, I guess. At a glance, the simplistic nature of Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters is charming, but in practice, it's extremely repetitive and boring...

If the fact that I'm always in a Superman shirt when I'm on camera didn't clue you in, I'm a DC Comics nerd. As such, I've learned to steel myself when it comes to DC video games.
