#zelda So Nintendo has, more or less, settled on some semblance of an official timeline for the Legend of Zelda series. You may have thoughts/concerns about this. You also probably don't have as many as reader Zach does, though. More »
Watch Princess Zelda Beat Up Link In SoulCalibur V

#soulcalibur Hey, look! It's Link—who starred in the GameCube version of SoulCalibur II—making a triumphant return to the Stage of History along with that girl he's always having to rescue. The folks at NowGamer made crafted Nintendo's iconic maiden-and-warrior pair with the character creator in Namco's just-released fighting game, and then have Princess Zelda and her eternal savior Link go toe-to-toe. Zelda's based off of new character Viola and Link is patterned after the game's cover boy Patroklos. The fight's even for a while but Zelda handily kicks Link's ass. There's only one thing to say about that: "Well, excuuuuse me, Princess!" More »

Considering the onslaught of Zelda-related content we received in 2011 thanks to the franchises 25th anniversary, it's likely Nintendo will lay low on the Zelda front in 2012. We may, if we're lucky, see a global release for that gorgeous piece of Zelda lore called Hyrule Historia (the source of all the recent Zelda timeline news we've all been buzzing over). Otherwise, expect it to be a much slower year for the land of Hyrule... sort of...
