Nyko is showing off gadgets and gizmos aplenty at E3 this year - sadly, the Wii Party Station won't be one of them (and still isn't slated for production). The company's E3 2011 lineup does include accessories like the "Zoom for Kinect," a clip-on lens which supposedly allows those with smaller living spaces to use the Kinect, reducing the distance required by "up to 40%."

For 3DS owners, Nyko has the Shock n' Rock cradle, which offers two times the battery life and four powered speakers, along with vibration feedback. The company is also showing off the Game Boost, an accessory that adds an extra hour or two of battery life. There's also the Power Grip, which supposedly adds three times the battery without removing the device's power.

Most extravagantly, there's the Play Clock for 3DS. A combination: charging dock, alarm clock and powered speaker system. There's also a line-in port for connecting your MP3 player of choice. It's actually pretty nifty, depending on what the final price ends up being.

Pricing and release dates are still unconfirmed for all the products, but all of the items should be available in time for the holidays.

Kingdoms Of Amalur: The Reckoning hasn’t been seen all that often, and if it’s not something you’ve heard of you should probably expect to. 38 Studios, a team headed up by former baseball bloke Curt Schilling, took an enormous loan from Rhode Island to move their offices over there, which means Amalur’s kingdom is a cash-rich one. As demonstrated by the below…(more…)

We're tired of pretending to drive cars with video game controllers like children, but we're not quite ready to pay adult prices to upgrade our experience. For us, the demanding cheap, there's the Wireless Speed Wheel, coming to the 360 for just $60 in October.

Though the controller works out of the box with all racing games, it apparently has "limited functionality" with some titles. Here's hoping "limited functionality" doesn't translate to "no brakes."

Eager to toot its horn on the vast third-party support the PlayStation Vita will apparently enjoy, Sony fired off a list of developers in a press email earlier today. The Japanese developers currently dwarf the North American studios who have signed up, but it's understandable: Sony has been doing well in Japan with the PSP for some time now, there's more confidence in the platform there.

Anywho, hit the jump for the full list and give us your best guesses on what they're working on in the comments section!

Sony has announced a fairly neat sounding application for the PS Vita's beefy social networking features -- it's a "social-action-RPG" called Vita, which sees players create their own hero and lair, and siege the lairs of their friends (and rivals!) The top-down, Diablo-style lootfest will also have a PS3 version, which allows players to transfer (transfarr?) their saves between the two versions at-will.

aHey, cross-game chat is coming to PlayStation ... Vita! It's called "Party," and according to a quick explanation by Kaz Hirai, it allows people to talk to each other through the PlayStation Vita system even while playing different games, using either a headset or the microphone built into the Vita device.

We're not used to that name yet. "Vita." Will we ever be?

Jack Tretton revealed a new piece of hardware: A TV. And some 3D glasses. Available in one $499 bundle this fall, the 3D-enabled 24-inch television includes a pair of PlayStation-branded 3D glasses (extra glasses are available for $69.99 separately), a six foot HDMI cable and a copy of Resistance 3. Best of all, the screen includes some clever technology which allows two players looking at the display at two different angles to see separate images, effectively eschewing traditional split-screen multiplayer.

Following in the grand tradition of every trailer for every other game in the series, Assassin's Creed: Revelations' E3 debut video is a slick production. We don't know who's in charge of picking musical accompaniment over there, but they deserve a million dollar raise.

After a rough couple of months, Sony's gotta be hungry for a win, but will its E3 keynote be the place for that victory? Will the company have a sense of humor about its security problems? Will it ignore them all together? Will we all pretend to be surprised when the NGP is totally called the PS Vita? We'll all find out together when the company shows its hand at the LA Memorial Sports Arena Monday, 8 p.m. EDT, 5 p.m. PDT!

Yes, yes, there’s also a Tintin game, for some reason. I mean I know Ubisoft are French and everything, but come on now. Make a Metabarons game or something. Oh, it’s because there’s a movie. Ubi says: “Based on the highly anticipated feature film The Adventures of Tintin directed by Steven Spielberg and produced by Steven Spielberg, [two people called Steven Spielberg! - ed] Peter Jackson and Kathleen Kennedy, The Adventures of Tintin: The Game will provide Tintin fans, both young and old, the opportunity to dive into the world of Tintin and relive key adventures from the series.”

It actually looks rather… varied? That is a way I can describe it. It might be good. But it will still be a game about Tintin. Trailer down there. You know the drill. Man, I have DEFINITELY posted enough trailers for the rest of the time the Earth has left before it is engulfed by our dying sun.(more…)

Gearbox's Randy Pitchford just took the stage at Ubisoft's E3 press conference to announce a new title called Brothers in Arms: Furious 4. Pitchford promised both "a new take on wargames and a new take on World War 2" with the title, and then showed a short trailer with four different player characters, each presumably with their own abilities and characteristics, all making up a "special squad of soldiers."

Unlike the more historical bent of the previous Brothers in Arms titles, this one is a less reverent take, featuring a more stylistic look and at least one Nazi exclaiming "Schisse!" Brothers in Arms: Furious 4 is set for a release sometime next year.
