- when the producer checked out Steins;Gate on a recommendation, he enjoyed it enough to reach out to Hayashi
- Hayashi is in charge of story, plot, and characters
- the producer's intention is to show independence in this game
- Agnes, the game’s heroine, has a strong sense of duty
- this gives her a narrow view in the beginning of the game
- Hayashi says friends and enemies have to be interesting as well, and expanding on all of these details gives Bravely Default a deep worldview

The following details come from scenario writer Naotaka Hayashi...

- Naotaka is responsible for creating the entire scenario plot and themes
- he also is responsible for defining all the characters
- Naotaka wrote the actual text script in the game
- the game is character-driven, with the characters learning that their personal views don't always match with that of a world at large
- these conflicts will cause them to question their approach towards the world and others
- the title refers to bravely taking the step towards turning your back on your promises and responsibilities

- when you start off in town, the camera is zoomed out to show you the entire area
- as you move deeper into town, the camera moves in
- text boxes use 3D to pop out of the background
- the town features an inn, a fountain, a weapon shop, magic shop and more
- equipping gear changes Tiz’s look
- you start the game with a dagger
- items you can obtain in the demo include a long sword and Mythril shield
- the item shop in the game features HP-restoring potions and hi-potions
- there is a special attack feature that is yet to be revealed

- the "Crystal Maiden" is a 17-year-old girl named Anies
- she controls the "Wind Crystal" and sets off on a journey, which is lead by the Crystal Spirits
- no release date for the demo given

I'll tell you this much. If Bravely Default: Flying Fairy plays half as well as it looks, you and I are going to be in for one heck of a treat. Say what you want about the name, and yes it really is stupid, the game is outright the most stunning thing I've seen on the 3DS thus far. In fact I'd say it's one of the more visually creative games I've seen in a while...
