At its core, Assassin’s Creed III is a very big game with an amazing setting, great exploration, solid gameplay, and a wonderful story. However, it constantly pokes holes in this experience with poor pacing and a myriad of minor issues.

We reported on this awhile back, but now we have visual confirmation of the 3D display features in Assassin's Creed III. You can indeed sit with your GamePad and enjoy the game in 3D, if you have the right equipment. Thanks to all that sent this in!

Assassin’s Creed III is the fifth in Ubisoft’s open-world action series. Like its predecessors, it has you playing a historical ‘assassin’ who divides his time between free-running across rooftops, hunting down and killing members of a sinister conspiracy and collecting feathers, with sci-fi diversions into a modern-day tale of one of his descendants trying to prevent an apocalypse. This time, though, we’re in the New World – America in the throes of revolution against its British rulers/oppressors. A few weeks after its console version, it’s not out on PC – here’s what I made of it.

...the important takeaway here is that Wii U delivers an Assassin's Creed III experience on par with other consoles, being neither significantly better or worse. If you're inclined to check it out and haven't picked it up for another console yet, you may as well play it here.

We complete the Encyclopedia of the Common Man and find all the Entries. Doctor, Miner, Huntress, Lumberers, Innkeepers, Woodworker, Farmers.

We've been hearing a lot of complaints about glitches in Assassin's Creed III. Now we have footage of various bugs and issues from the 360 version. Let's hope some of this is fixed up in the Wii U version.
