Last week, they promised to show us what Batgirl looks like in action as Injustice's second DLC fighter (after Lobo). They delivered. Here's the Batgirl, beating the living bejesus out of the Joker. The Batgirl DLC will be available sometime soon, at a price of $5, or free for season pass owners.

With the confirmation of DLC hitting Wii U this Summer, I guess it's time for me to start covering the latest DLC news for the game!

Destin takes you through a few easy combos for Lobo in Injustice: Gods Among Us and one big combo that does 52% damage.

The first add-on character for NetherRealm's Injustice: Gods Among Us is available for download today. Lobo is an interstellar mercenary and bounty hunter, known for his love of space-cycles and cigars.

Lobo is free to download for all Season Pass owners; everyone else pays 400 MS Points ($5) to add him to the roster. Lobo is the first of four planned DLC characters, soon to be followed by Batgirl.

Three new DLC packs are also available for Injustice: Gods Among Us. The Teen Titans pack slaps alternate costumes on Cyborg, Raven and Deathstroke, while the Bad Girls pack groups together alternate versions of Catwoman, Wonder Woman and Harley Quinn - both are 240 MS Points ($3).

Finally, the Flashpoint collection, previously exclusive to Season Pass holders, dresses up Aquaman, Wonder Woman and Deathstroke in their alternate dimension "Flashpoint" ensembles for 320 MS Points ($4).

Wii U fans are getting fed up with the lack of news on DLC for Injustice: Gods Among Us on Wii U. The official Injustice Twitter has just commented on why we keep hearing the same statement over and over.

There's a lot of content here, and I can't recommend Injustice highly enough for both fighting fans and DC enthusiasts. Oh, and here's a protip: Aquaman is the secret Best Character (no joke)!

We've known for a week that Lobo, the superviolent, self-regarding antihero biker, would be the first DLC character for Injustice: Gods Among Us. (Rumors have it that Barbara Gordon Batgirl, Scorpion from Mortal Kombat, and General Zod, who just read an amazing letter for Funny or Die, are the others). Here he is in action against Batman and, spoiler alert, Lobo wins. The finisher is something you're gonna want to see. Dude drives his bike over Bats, flips him off (helpfully pixelated out here) and dinks his cigar ash on him. Lobo arrives on May 7.

Fights move along at a cracking pace, and reward offensive play over keeping your enemy at a distance with projectiles. And it’s all presented in a playful, over-the-top Saturday morning cartoon sort of way, with fights playing out much as you’d expect a rumble between superheroes would. Injustice is a sensitive use of the DC licence, and it’s also a fine fighting game in its own right.
