#wiiu While Nintendo's making sure to have at least one big first-party title available for the launch of their new console in the form of <em>New Super Mario Bros U, some of the company's other heavy hitters are quite as lucky. Metroid Blast—part of the themed mini-game collection Nintendo Land—isn't quite a full Samus Aran adventure but it brings in elements that hark back to the Metroid experience. Keep an eye out for a new preview and videos of Nintendo Land tomorrow including the never-before-seen Yoshis Fruit Cart and Octopus Dance!

I'm guessing that IGN will also have footage of this, since they were talking about Wii U coverage last week.

Balloon Trip Breeze

Hero carries parcels between islands
Delivering the parcels rewards you with currency to spend in the theme park.
You can tap away certain obstacles on the gamepad but random prods will cause the spikes to ricochet.

Metroid Blast

Shooting doesn't use the sensor to aim, but the MotionPlus.
Gunmen boast Samus' full moveset - morph ball, charge shots, evasive dodges and grapple beams - can use the latter to hang from the gunship.

Mario Chase

In the Mud River Run stage, mud moats can be crossed via bridges that dissolve under the escapee's feet.
At the end of the round, you get a breakdown of everyone's movement.

Pikmin Adventure

Pikmin world re-imagined as clockwork Gashapon toys.
Enemies arrive in plastic capsules, dispatched by a giant vending machine.
When a Pikmin is eaten by an enemy, they emerge as Poo, Friends must then help to chip them out.

Same deal as the New Super Mario Bros. U teaser site. Not much in the way of new content, but I'm sure that'll change soon! Can't wait to see some footage of those other games we know by name-only!
