- E. Gadd created the Pixellator, a transporter that instantly zaps Luigi to mansions
- Luigi performs a lot of gags and slapstick comedy
- ghosts perform all sorts of animations while floating about: laughing at Luigi, scrambling away when he tries to suck them up and more
- while you explore, you'll see rooms you can't get into right away
- coins and cash are hidden everywhere, in drawers, in the pockets of coats and under carpets

- bonuses include 3x vacuum or the darklight visor
- gain experience on each level
- get the leecher award for stealing points from other players

The official teaser site for Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon has just opened up. I guess this means Nintendo is going to stick by their latest release date! This title has been a long-time coming. Hopefully we'll get more, new looks at this game in the coming weeks.

- when it reaches full charge, a player can tap the A button and perform a stronger yank to catch ghosts
- avoid damage by quickly tapping the B button
- charge up concentrated light blasts that cover a larger area and stun nearby enemies

- each location Luigi visits is broken down into a series of missions
- missions are provided by Professor E. Gadd
- receive a checklist of objectives, with waypoints coming courtesy of a DS-esque device that features a full map
- getting a new attachment for the Poltergust 5000 involves solving multiple puzzles, tracking through various rooms and fighting off ghosts
- cash and gems contribute to mission-by-mission scores (based on your clearance time, ghosts defeated, cash acquired and more)
- they also factor into vacuum upgrades as well
- fighting ghosts involves a flash-then-capture system
- use a strobe light to stun a ghost
- ghosts can vanish quickly
- some ghosts have ranged attacks
- other ghosts wear sunglasses which block your flash
- you'll have to remove the sunglasses to capture them
- use the Dark/Light device to uncover hidden objects and enemies
- eventually fight off bosses
- one location is the Old Clockwork Mansion
