The Internet is a funny place. Do pretty much anything, and someone, somewhere is going to turn it into an animated GIF. Because there is a law written somewhere that pretty much legally binds us all to this rule. This week, crafty Internet surfers seemed inspired by the news on Pokémon X and Pokémon Y, but I tossed in a few of my own creations, too. Because seriously, I might get arrested otherwise. This is not a joke. (This is a joke.) Let's start off with the most hilarious takes from a really messed up Sesame Street game on Vinesauce. Ernie?! Grover!?! What the hell are you doing? Hannes Greyling imagined and illustrated how Pokémon would use their powers to relive boredom on an island. I don't think you realize how deadly those chairs in WWE 13 can be. Thank God we for Battlefield 3 and the beautiful glitches its online community find. Pedro M. Filho's animated a**hole dog from Duck Hunt is intimidating. Animated Pokémon sprites would sure look cool on the 3DS boxes of Pokémon X and Y. And just a reminder for you this weekend: the giants in the recently debuted anime series Attack on Titan are not just horrifying, but they can also dance really well. Humans and Pokémon peacefully coexist in the world of Pokémon. In addition to playing as a human hero, you'll meet many other folks. Some of them will help you on adventure, while many others will stand in your way!

Pokémon X and Pokémon Y got a new game trailer this morning, and shed more light on the game, including four new Pokémon, when it arrives in October for the 3DS. Say hello to Fletchling, Pancham, Helioptile and Gogoat. The game will take place in an entirely new region, named Kalos, whose central hub is Lumiose City. You can see its landscape and features in the video above. Beginning at 0:44 you can see the new Pokémon. They are, in order, Fletchling, a normal- and flying-type Pokémon; Pancham, a fighting type with a brand-new move called "Parting Shot" that allows him to switch out for another Pokémon in the trainer's group; Helioptile, a normal- and electric-type whose hit points are restored by half of the damage its Parabolic Charge causes; and Gogoat, a grass-type Pokémon who will give players "a reliable way to travel certain parts of Lumiose City."
