Ixnay On The Acespay Oirnay: First Space Noir Gameplay

Why is Space Noir named so? Because it’s set in space, and the story’s noir. But what happens when you remove the space and the noir? Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold; mere anarchy is loosed upon the world; and the first gameplay trailer for N-Fusion’s spaceship-y shooter arrives. The sample does exactly what it doesn’t say on the tin: it’s light on story so we don’t get a sense of the game’s noir, and goes down within a planet’s atmosphere so we can’t see about its space.

What we can see is five minutes of a ship pulling fancy acrobatics and blowing hordes of enemy fighters out the sky with zapbeams and lock-on missiles in arcade-y combat, if we forgive the egregious deception long enough to look.

The following info comes from Watch_Dogs Animation Director Colin Graham...

- stealth is a player choice
- you combine stealth movement and cover with hacking to make distractions
- some areas of contextual stealth
- dedicated cover button with sticky cover
- “variety” of different hideouts
- Aiden will be able to swim or to take a boat
- there will be plenty of boats to hop aboard
- “cars on demand” system that will allow Aiden to request a vehicle to be delivered to his location
- this works with cars and bikes only
- the team didn’t deem necessary to implement this feature with boats

When we first started developing the world in Earthlock we knew we wanted to have a strong female main character.

Back then Ive was actually called Lavender and she had a Victorian outfit and was inspired by the Red Mages in the Final Fantasy’s job class system.

Help?
There is something absolutely amazing about falling down, ramming your anal sphincter into a hard mass of this earth. The resultant bruise and pain is worse than forced anal. One has to rise to the occasion an try to maintain composure? Mainly as it hurts so bad to sit on your ass? It is like being kicked in the butthole with a boot.. if that boot had a chopstick on the end. Targeted precise pain direct to the location of truth and understanding.
When you find that you have done this level of damage you instantly fear pooping. It becomes a excruciating act lest not forget farting too hard will blow blood mist if you break the protective barrier your body seals for repairs. Take comfort in knowing the water is bright red knowing it is less likely to die by rectum. Wiping turns to a act of brutality to be confined to the most heinous torture methods of unnamed government rendering. Throb Throb Throb it says.. Painfully not letting you sleep, not letting you shit, not letting you die.. As April 15 approaches you must pay taxes... It is truly true that taxes take the highest form of compassion in this situation.
This is not your normal gym roid rage, wish me luck! I promise this is 100% serious and lame as can be... I likely should not have rode my bicycle 160 miles while trying to heal. Houston please advise before my oring blows out and kills this mission.

Multiplayer hijinks, new map join Goat Simulator in May

Those who have already exhausted the myriad ways to wreck stuff in Goat Simulator will be happy to hear that the game's first patch both squashes bugs and brings new content for your cloven-hooved avatar to destroy.

"Goat Simulator patch 1.1 adds local splitscreen multiplayer and a whole new playable map, coming in the middle of May," wrote Coffee Stain Studios in a recent tweet. The developer fails to offer any specifics on what this new map might contain or how the addition of a second goat might alter Goat Simulator's baffling gameplay, but we expect to hear more soon.

If you haven't already played Goat Simulator, you can grab the game from Steam for $10. Respected goat resource GoatFinder lists prices for actual, live goats from $75 to $500, so consider Goat Simulator a bargain-priced entry to the world of naughty livestock. [Image: Coffee Stain Studios]
