As always, this is a serious topic, and should be treated as such. This thread will remain PG-13, like any topic on sexuality or issues relating to such on this site. In other words, while I wish for you to express deep, thoughtful opinions towards the matter, I don't want you to go into great detail about the "examples"; as I said, keep it PG-13.

What is your opinion on sexual fetishes and/or sexuality? Is it right, wrong, or neither, and why do you believe this?

I, myself, have no problem with those who have uncommon sexual fetishes- as long as they do not involve physical harm towards the unwilling. For instance, in the case of sexuality, I believe that homosexuals have every right to participate in homosexual activity, as long as they do not force it upon someone who is straight (Which is rare.)

What are your thoughts on uncommon sexual fetishes or people who have uncommon sexual fetishes (Example: Furries)?

Y'know, its funny. When I read this topic, the ad at the top said "Gay Chubby Dating". Some may be disgusted by this, but I don't care to be honest. I agree, I don't mind different fetishes as long as there is no harm to and of the people involved in it. People find it hard to believe people like different things, which is why there is negativity towards certain fetishes. People don't like what is different, and it is sad.

Fetishes are often just simply preference in some cases. The words sort of lost its sexual meaning, some who have a mild interest in per say Bondage might call it Their Fetish. In turn I think its become a catch all term for slight attraction of what may be considered outside of the sexual norm, to something that deeply effects the individual, possibly even being augmented by a mental illness or traumatic experience.

As for Sexuality, thats up to the individual and those like them. I as a bisexual, kind of wish more people were open with their sexuality, but I understand that its all a matter of what you are attracted to. What I dislike is someone being Close minded about sexuality, to the point where they hate a homosexual or a bisexual for their sexuality. =/

Being Transexual often creates even more problems, but I wont get too deeply into that, Simply put who you can date is very limited.

For example feet. Feet aren't used in "normal" standard sex. But some people are aroused by them.

Having fetishes is fine, IMO. I admit I have a couple weird ones, so it would be pretty hypocritical of me to say that it's wrong. I keep them to myself, though, and I feel that other people should do the same. If you have a thing for anthropomorphic dogs, that's fine, but I don't want to hear about it.
But like LC said, if your fetish involves actually hurting people... that's a different story.

I agree - people have the right to do what they want as long as that does not infringe upon the rights of other people.

I just wish in some cases they were a bit less public about it, AND wouldn't scream, for example, "FURSECUTION !" (or a similiar cry) whenever questioned or asked to not be THAT open.

Having feteishes are fine as long as YOU KEEP IT TO YOURSELF IN FORUMS LIKE THIS ONE BECAUSE APPARENTLY SOME PEOPLE CAN'T KEEP IT TO THEMSELVES AND ARE GETTING OUT OF HAND.

In my opinion, there are three levels of fetishism.

Level 1 - You keep the fetish to yourself, but actively enforce it during sexual (or in some cases, nonsexual) activities.

Level 2 - Mentioning it here and there, maybe when asked what turns you on.

Level 3 - Not knowing when to shut up about it and constantly blabbering on about it.

Anyone at level 1 or 2 is perfectly fine in my eyes. You're allowed to have whatever fetishes you want, even if it is considered odd or even disgusting in the eye of the general public. But if you're at level 3, it's time to shut up about what gets you going. I'm not saying they have no right to their fetish, I'm saying if you constantly bring it up, even when it doesn't relate to the topic at hand, you need to just be silent.
