It's crazy. Sometimes, people just don't have those extra words to fit a 200 word post.
Plus, not all topics need to have that many words in GD. |

The longer length for GD is so that there is more differentiation between it and Off-Topic. People can expect more thought out discussion in GD. Well, that's the idea anyways. 200 characters is like two full sentences.
That paragraph was like 222 characters. |
