Enemy characters: you know, like the ones in teh SSE. that would've been interesting.

Effects. This would make them closer to professional stages. And, you can add some extra darkness there, make a platform that moves into other area there (Like the way it happens at Isle Delfino and Port Town Aero Drive or whatever it was called), and all that jazz. Maybe even rotating stages.

Also, a tool to pick among a variety of designs for a certain piece, and a way to flip pieces upside-down.

Oh, and this reminds me, a way to flip a piece 90º too. So you can put spikes on the wall as well.
