wtf unity, you add "Physics2D.IgnoreLayerCollision" but you don't add "Physics2D.IgnoreCollision" between just two colliders, what kind of show are you running; guess I need to update to the latest version and see if it was added

did you give under pressure knowing you're using someone else's work to make cookie cutter games anyone else could make in the same vein that all game maker games are similar so you've gone to the trouble of blogging about Unity hoping someone will agree with you in it being a valid way to make games and not just being lazy so you'll feel validated?

does that mean everything made with a hammer is unoriginal

claus that analogy was so poor it physically hurt me.
No, a hammer would be like an IDE or something in that regard.
to use your analogy would be to say if a million people took a hammer and glued their shitty drawing on it and called it an improved hammer.
also crump money still doesn't validate your existence or skills. people get money picking up shit, they don't really go around flaunting their amazing shit flinging skills.

you can't make good games without the money to fund them, though; how do you expect to make good, quality-produced games without funding? i mean, most of the people who boast about coding games from scratch only make like simplistic platformers and rpgs straight out of 1995

what anal orgy

by being decent at 3D modeling or having someone who can do it? it's about skills, there's no magic machine that turns money into a game, otherwise EA would fire all their drones. That kinda work is cheap, it's not like you need to sell your house for some decent models. You really need to stop thinking money is everything, no wonder you need to validate your life with muscles. So materialistic.

>implying you an hire a good 3D artist for cheap
lol

If that's all you care about is the grafix than you probably don't give a shit about the actual game and just want to make something pretty to sell, in which case why are you even flaunting unity as being "good" rather than just a fast way to churn out a product.

I like unity because it gets the job done and lets me focus on the design of the game without worrying about 50 other things

I like any other game engine because it doesn't have the 50 billion faults unity does

Fortran thinks that art direction isn't important in games; Fortran confirmed as philistine
