seriously though, this is really scary and doesn't bode well for the future

herr yomiel says to pursue the arts and literature anyways, despite the fact that AI can do them as well as or better than a human. the effort we put in makes our work valuable, and the pursuit of our passions is what fuels us. ai can be dangerous to artists and creative people, but the true damage it can do lies moreso in misinformation. herr yomiel says to make the most out of life, as that's the one thing robots can't do.

AI being able to take over most creative fields sucks and i have a problem with that, but my main problem is the damage and destruction that can come from anybody being able to create hyperrealistic AI videos of anything politics are already in the toilet, think how things are gonna go now that this is a possibility people are going to have the ability to create absolutely anything they please, and you'll no longer be able to trust anything you see whatsoever the future that we're heading towards is one full of propaganda and misinformation, and that's what i'm afraid of

Seaworthy??? I dunno. This is certainly going to be terrible for the Brazilians though.

In cases like Nintendo games and Undertale/Deltarune for example, I feel like the fandoms are kinda overbearing/annoying despite being centered around good games. In others like Touhou Project or I Wanna Be the Guy, the fandom by far carries the games well past their individual face values. Personally, I think there's a good in between spot with smaller/less in-your-face fandoms... kinda like this one we all ended up in.
