Graphics and physics are great, a very similar style to DK Jungle Beat with a lot of cinematic touches. The minecart level was a little frustrating, in that you are almost forced to die a few times to react to what is coming or grab bonuses (at one point the camera zooms in close to make it even harder). The game punishes you for taking damage by making you lose Diddy Kong (your hover-jump). I'll give the internets a week before someone finishes a no-Diddy run.
As much as I hate collect-a-thons, you can't help but want to 100% a DKC game. The KONG letters are not too difficult, but the puzzle pieces are very well hidden. I'll probably have to resort to a guide to catch'em all.
One thing I hate is having to make Donkey Kong blow at daffodils and all sorts of fauna in hopes to find a banana or whatever. You have to stop, press down, and then shake the remote to get DK to blow some air. Ridiculous.
tl;dr: It's on like Donkey Kong, but having to blow halts your flow, ya know?
Hey, some people like to blow.
