get DKCR, goldeneye maybe if its on sale, and kirby's epic yarn if you want a good plat-former thats fun but can be beat in one sitting.

i dont mind playing a level over a couple times, but jesus *crag*, i want to be able to beat it at some point

DKCR is manageable, I wouldn't say it's Megaman hard but some parts might get to you before you eventually beat it, the last level on the Cave area however as well as the boss was *crag*ing god awful ridiculous bullshit and you should expect nothing less from those 2 parts good god they were *crag*ing awful *crag*.

The boss battle on world 4 wasn't TOO hard, but it was a bitch sometimes. level 3 in world 4 was hard as *crag*ing hell, that level was like a *crag*ing memory game

Boreal i actually played it, the stages are basically press right and a, the voice acting is the worst ever (i just died when sonic described something as "epic"), and the plot is incredibly basic and not creative at all

it looks fun but I think that's because they used a bunch of fancy graphics and stuff you don't really push a whole lot of buttons, just left/right and 2 occasionally. i was pretty bored while playing the stages actually

why do people think Sonic Colors looks good?
It really doesn't.

I'm still pretty much sold on Colors, since nobody has any real complaints other than IT'S A PLATFORMER

noone has complained that it's a platformer; people have complained that it's mediocre.

what sonic games dont have you holding down one directional button and then jumping? that's a sonic game on the whole

maybe in Sonic the Hedgehog 1, but 3 was incredibly non linear in its level design.
