Contrary to the entire games press’ presumption yesterday, semi-unexpected sequel Prey 2 is not going to use the very shiniest, newest version of id Software’s graphics engine, id Tech 5, after all. Bethesda’s Pete Hines waggled his finger at IGN to correct the misconception, claiming that Prey 2′s been on the drawing board for so long that id Tech 5 essentially turned up too late. (more…)
