3DS is a piece of shit

The iPhone is more powerful than a 3DS.

And it's cheaper.

Also it can be a phone.

Also you can't play Monkey Ball with motion controls and 3D.
Or any game with motion controls.
Because it has to be stable to be in 3D.
Good job.

Also the 3D is just shit in general and sucks up battery life.
Reply by Popple Mar 16 2011 01:33 GMT

Why didn't Nintendo just make a better DS.

I guess that was too hard.

I guess *CRAG*ING EVERYTHING UP was easier.

Ah, I see you've played it long enough to develop a well formed opinion.

I have.

There's also the part where all of this is fact and not opinion, but whatever.

Reply by Popple Mar 16 2011 02:15 GMT
ok let's talk facts...
The iPhone costs $600. though an iPod Touch (8GB) costs about the same as a 3DS.
Because it is not a phone, the 3DS has better battery life and tactile controls.
more powerful? no one cares (see Wii's success).
Motion controls suck the same for all handhelds, 3D or no 3D
it is a better DS. Just turn the 3D off.

I'm not paying $250 for a system when half of it's features are bull shit.
Reply by Popple Mar 16 2011 02:52 GMT
you already did. you paid $250 for a Wii
Reply by Francis Mar 16 2011 02:54 GMT
What part of the Wii is anything other than what they said it would be.
Other than the software.
Reply by Popple Mar 16 2011 03:07 GMT
The Wii's motion controls and online play were basically bull shit features
Reply by Francis Mar 16 2011 03:28 GMT
I knew what I was getting into.
Reply by Popple Mar 16 2011 03:29 GMT
well it's the same with 3DS. You know going in that the 3D, StreetPass, and cameras are gimmicks. $250 gets you a better DS. Just like $250 got you a better Gamecube.
Reply by Francis Mar 16 2011 03:48 GMT
Let's face facts though, it all comes down to how much Nintendo and third parties support this thing.
It is going to be flooded with iOS ports, that is a given. It's a business reality at this point.
If it is five good games and a several hundred Angry Bird clones I am paying for then count me out.
So far almost every game shown that has been of any interest is a port or the rare sequel.

Meh, I've had more fun with my GameCube than my Wii.

My opinion is that the GameCube is better than the Wii. Better games, better durability, has a *CRAG*ING HANDLE, backwards compatibility for peripherals.

Wii's WiFi is shit, motion controls are a gimmick, and you can't turn the damn thing on if your Wiimote is gone. It also has a lot of shitty games, and then games of the same quality of GCN but higher priced.

Also the GCN bios is cooler than the Wii Menu.

>the Wii is also a GameCube
>GameCube better than the Wii
DOES
NOT
COMPUTE

What
the gamecube didn't have backwards compatability, the only older games you could play were ports, and you had to have the gameboy player to play gbc and gba games, both of which cost money.

Nas work harder on reading comprehension.

I said for the peripherals. You could use the same AV cables you used for your NES.

@Boreale: He spoke mostly of physical features + BIOS (not in Wii)

>My opinion is that the GameCube is better than the Wii.
>Better games
The Wii can play those same "better games" with the same controller. In addition, the Wii has exclusive games that use the Gamecube's controller. The GameCube had no WiFi, and so therefore the GameCube loses in that area by default.
There are no logical reasons to say "the GameCube is superior to the Wii" when most complaints are purely with cosmetic features.
Every console has shitty games. Every. Single. One.

Why does that even *crag*ing matter
OH MY GOD IT USES THE SAME CABLES AS THE N64 IT IS SUCH A HUGE DEAL
Reply by Nastasia Mar 16 2011 20:14 GMT

Reading comprehension again Nas, he said NES not N64. Also the wii is completely *crag*ing useless unless you invest alot in VC, Gamecube games, or get HBC. But yeah if a handheld/console that is already out can do more than whats being released it's already a failure.

Reply by Fallen Shade Mar 16 2011 20:29 GMT
Same god damn concept, there's nothing incredibly important about some *crag*ing cables
