You may not know Olly Moss' name but you've probably seen his work; it's been regular blog fodder for a while now and for good reason--Moss' creations are fantastic and inspired. Insomniac Games decided to throw a curve ball in retail's direction with the box art for Resistance 3 and partnered with the British artist.

"We wanted Olly’s work to reflect that in Resistance 3, YOU are the Resistance," said Insomniac Games senior community manager James Stevenson on the Playstation Blog this morning. "Resistance 3 isn’t a military shooter, as the United States Army and SRPA have been destroyed. Instead, Resistance 3 is about the remnants of humanity finding any way possible to survive in a brutal world."

In addition to collaborating on the box, Moss has produced a series of Resistance-inspired pieces, some of which have debuted today, others to be dolled out as the game's public relations campaign rolls out.
