Considering you get a free copy of the full game upon release and the time-travel mechanic doesn't exist in any other game, I would personally say it's worth it (plus a beta of the first campaign was released in the latest update). It was cheaper when I bought it, but I don't know what their distribution plans are for release so I can't comment on prices.
