Nintendo of Europe has confirmed that they'll be publishing Resident Evil: Revelations on February 27th in Europe. NoE also added a bit to their press release that wasn't in the North American announcement, which you can find below.

The game is also compatible with the new slider pad, a second circle pad with two more shoulder buttons, enabling you to interact with the environments in new ways.

So...the Circle Pad is definitely on its way, but we don't know when. I guess it'll be out before or with Resident Evil: Revelations. At least, in Europe...
