Iwata details upcoming 3DS eShop functions - DLC, demos, eShop on PC and more
- DLC for games released at retail
- demos where the publisher can put a limit on the number of trials
- more than 1 million reviews have been added to the eShop
- software downloads can be done when Nintendo 3DS is in sleep mode
- eShop will eventually be available to view on a PC or smartphones
- you will not be able to purchase content from the PC/Smartphone version of the eShop at the start
- take a photo of a QR code at the Nintendo eShop by using the camera of your Nintendo 3DS and then your 3DS will open up the eShop to that page
- purchases through PC and smartphone will come at a later date
