The nominations have been announced for the somethingth annual Spike Video Game Awards. Contenders for game of the year are the expected assortment of superheroes, adventurers, artificial intelligences and dragon murder simulators. Namely, the nominated games include Batman: Arkham City, Skyrim, Uncharted 3, Zelda: Skyward Sword and Portal 2 (which came out way back in April, remember).
