The Legend a Zelda: Skyward Sword (Wii)
"Song a the Hero" Game-Killing Bug
Strike three, Nintendo. This be the third game on the Wii with a game-killing glitch. If ye be unfortunate enough t' stumble into this glitch, ye're either going t' have t' start yer game over, send yer save file on an SD card t' Nintendo t' fix the problem, or modify the save file on yer computer t' remedy the problem. In an age where bugs can quickly be fixed through a patch, it be ridiculous that players have t' go through loops 'n hurdles just t' pillage their game back on track. After similar game-killing bugs found in Twilight Princess 'n Metroid: Other M, ye think that Nintendo can pillage their shit together. Hopefully, the Wii U will be technologically advanced enough t' support patches.
Considering that several other games on this list also have game-halting glitches, Skyward Sword's takes the top spot simply because a the poor method in order t' fix it. The game-killing bug here occurs when ye complete tasks in a certain order during the "Song a the Hero" quest. If ye save the game after the bug be in effect, then prepare t' start the game over.
If ye complete the desert section a the quest first 'n talk t' the Goron twice, the game locks out completion a the other two portions, halting all progress a the game. How do ye avoid this? Just talk t' the Goron lad once. Alternatively, don't do the desert section a the quest first.
