Sometimes, you respect a person enough to not want to block him, but you still don't want to put up with his tomfoolery if he decided to act stupid one day. Because of this, I think it would be reasonable for you to consider adding in the option of blocking certain people in individual topics or boards, without blocking all of their posts everywhere.
