The Last Story, in shops now for Wii, reunites veteran game creator Hironobu Sakaguchi and famed video game composer Nobuo Uematsu for an RPG with a difference.

After more than twenty-five years of working together, the duo sat down with Nintendo President Satoru Iwata to discuss their working relationship as well as their latest project. The interview is full of anecdotes that are sure to delight fans of these talented creators:

Was the hand of fate at work when Sakaguchi began frequenting a cassette rental store in Yokohama, where Uematsu would give him his demo tapes to listen to?

What is the "curse of RPG music" and how does Uematsu feel about the evolution of the role of video game composer over the past two and a half decades?

Why was their cooperation on The Last Story particularly difficult, nearly leading Uematsu to quit the project altogether?
For the answers to all these questions - and many more - visit Iwata Asks: The Last Story, Volume 2 featuring Sakaguchi and Uematsu today!
