It looks like at one point, Warner Bros. wanted to get a Rampage reboot in the works. This concept art shows a return to the franchise, but with a zombie twist. Obviously, this project never came to be.

What is Warner Bros. doing with it's time instead? We're hearing rumblings that Monolith/Warner Bros. Games Seattle are working together on a tie-in game for The Hobbit: Part One. Nothing confirmed at the moment, but sure seems plausible to me.
