Apparently Studio Ghibli is working with Level-5 on a game. Both are *crag*ing top class in their fields, so I can't wait to see the final results. Then again both are known to have pretty bland stories from time to time. Meh. Details.
I'm not too terribly excited about this game; alot of times when we get these sorts of "team-ups," we get all hyped up, but are disappointed because it turns out to be all flash but no substance. But hey maybe I'm wrong; we'll see.
Kingdom Hearts came out of a big mash-up, and it is arguably almost as popular as Final Fantasy. While these two names aren't nearly as big, they certainly have much more cult appeal.
Well, of course it's as popular as Final Fantasy, but at the same time, it is widely criticized for having repetitive, hack n' slashy gameplay. Don't get me wrong, I love me some Kingdom Hearts, but if I got hyped up for it, I probably would have been disappointed; the only reason I like the series now is probably because I really had no interest in the series until I first stuck it in my PS2 and began playing it (I found it in a bargain bin and said "meh" and decided to get it). That's precisely why I'm not going to get hyped up for this game, because I'll probably end up disappointed (As I was with Kingdom Hearts 2, which I did hype up).
