- reduce development times from the usual 3-4 years to only 2.5 years
- this will increase the cost of development
- Capcom believes creating quality content quickly is vital to their ability to remain competitive

Consistent sequels while creating brand new games:

- games in popular brands will see more frequent releases
- intend to keep releasing brand new games also
- brand-new games will continue to be supported to build into brand

Increasing development staff

- plans to hire about 1,000 employees
- 100 developers added every year
- advances in technology and platforms will demand increased development staff
- will hire and train their own talent internally

More social/online games for mobile and PC

DLC for traditional games

- expect growth of about 26% in the packaged software category after factoring in DLC sales
- expect to make 3.5 billion yen ($43.8 million) in DLC sales
- hope to reach 105 billion yen ($1.3 billion) in net sales for the first time
