David Cole of DFC Intelligence has put together a report on the current state of consoles and where they're heading. Obviously the industry is in a transitional state right now, but the death of consoles is a point that just doesn't make sense. Consoles are changing with other aspects of the industry. If that transition continues, all should be just fine for consoles in the future.
