1 Oh yeah becuase thats *crag*ing stupid. The REASON we are working 60 hour weeks is becuase we need more income in the first place. All this would do is cut off half of our income for like 3 days off, and then give it to some poor guy who decides to take half of my job for the weekend. And that would just leave both of us worse off in the long run, becuase neither could progress without perpetually lessening the others work time.

In response to the actual topic: why don't we just play Bowser and redistribute the money equally among every citizen of America. Except for politicians. They should experience poverty before they try to solve it.

also @ flavio: no they really aren't, their economy is failing becuase it was built upon late 19th century ideals and early 20th century methods, and has been force fitted into a modern situation and format. this wouldn't be a problem if they would simply fine tune their socialist policies to fit the current situation, or get a prop up country (like Turkey has) to support them, though they would have to have give a looot in return. Turkey gets to do it because ottomans and what not.
