Ubisoft is breaking new ground in uncomfortable marketing, by promoting Far Cry 3 with a free Minecraft map and texture pack. The free pack, downloadable on PC October 26, adds Far Cry 3 locations and characters like "Vaas, Jason, and Citra," allowing you to keep Far Cry 3 and its December 4 release date fresh on your mind while playing a completely different game from a different company.

Ubisoft also sent over a series of images depicting Far Cry 3 promotional art with Minecraft imagery added. The actual playable content will be the other way around.
