I'm guessing that most people are expecting Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem to be related to the RPG genre in some way. Of course, we don't want to jump to conclusions. That's why it's nice to have a confirmation from Index themselves, who have listed the game as an RPG. Thanks to VGAMER for the heads up.
