The first God of War (in its HD format) is available now to PlayStation Plus members in Europe for free. The special will last two weeks, concluding on the ides minus two of March. After downloading, the game will remain accessible as long as the console stays a PS Plus member.

The freebie is to promote God of War: Ascension, the "immediate prequel" to the first game. Ascension will launch on the actual ides of March in Europe.
