GameSpot reviewer for Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon says Metacritic average is super-inflated

As you guys know, GameSpot gave Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon a 6.5. That falls pretty short of the Metacritic average. Of course, the Metacritic average isn't the end all/be all of review scores, but it does give you a good idea of where the game is generally sitting with critics. That's not to say someone can't fall outside of that range, but many people have taken issue with the GameSpot review due to some strange complaints.

I have no problem with the score (while I may disagree with it), but to have the reviewer call out other critics as giving the game an inflated score is a bit rude. If I were a Metacritic participant, I'd take quite a big issue with someone saying my score was super-inflated.

That's why I stay out of the Metacritic mess! It may not be a popular decision, but I feel it's the right one for me. Thanks to Kevin for the heads up!
