When you're playing your favorite game series, you will automatically notice if a new voice actor is taking on an old role. Much like the David Hayter situation right now, fans are very aware of the actors that voice big-name game characters, and they want those voices to be retained with each series entry. With all this recognition and dedication, why don't voice actors in games get treated with a bit more celebrity status?

"Within the next year and a half to two years, there will be something that tips over and brings some of these voice-over people a lot more celebrity. The fan base is so passionate and so loyal. The numbers don't lie. The money is coming in. It's not like these little niche projects anymore." - Kari Wahlgren, voice actor

Multiple voice actors have sat down to discuss this issue. Some of them like the anonymity they have, while others feel that voice actors in games aren't treated quite right within the industry. Hit up the feature below to see what some of today's biggest voice talents have to say.
