No doubt about it: the Mass Effect games had some great music. Over the run of the trilogy, a collection of composers and songwriters came together to create an iconic, unmistakable sonic identity. (Sometimes, they even hid their music in the game itself.) But just as remarkable as the music in the games has been the music created about the games.
Year after year, musically inclined fans gave musical tribute to Mass Effect. Sometimes the songs were funny, sometimes energizing. Sometimes they were beautiful and sad.
As the final post of Mass Effect week, I thought it'd be fitting to round up some of the best musical tributes from over the years. They're below, in no particular order, with links to download the tunes in question.

"A Reason to Breathe" - Mass Effect Fan Tribute
That tribute video, by Dmli1023, seems like a fitting note to go out on. The list is by no means complete, so if you know of a great tune that I left off, feel free to post it in the comments.
And that'll do it for Mass Effect week. It was the first time we've ever tried something like this, though it almost surely won't be the last. We had a lot of fun, and hope you did too. Thanks for reading along!
