Is the Wii U's Biggest Problem The 3DS?

Not my thoughts, but the thoughts of a writer over at Kotaku. There's one thing that I agree with here. Right now, the 3DS library is bright and vibrant, full of great content that is already out or due out this year. The Wii U's software library isn't nearly as full, with only a few confirmed highlights coming before 2014. Outside of that, I do not agree with the article.

The writer says why buy a Wii U when you can get a 3DS, which is cheaper and has all of Nintendo's big franchises? I would not make that argument for the GameCube Vs. GBA. I would not make that argument for the N64 Vs. GB/GBC. They were different platforms that offer different games. When the Wii U comes into its own, you'll have more reasons to be sold on it.

Right now, the 3DS software library is hurting Wii U. In a year's time or so, I'd like to think that problem will be on its way out.
