Online retail game deals - April 28th

Another Sunday, another round of game sales and promotions. Let's get started!

Toys R Us is running a number of offers this week, including what is certainly the best of the bunch - Injustice: Gods Among Us for only $34.99! Shipping charges hurt this deal if purchased online, but you can always opt for free in-store pickup if you have a TRU store nearby.

Course, it wouldn't be Toys R Us without some Skylander deals. Skylanders Giants Starter Packs are $49.99, and all Skylanders figures and accessories are Buy 1, Get 1 40% off. If you purchase a Starter Pack in-store, you'll also receive a free Collector Pin Set valued at $9.99. (This swag offer apparently doesn't apply online, even if TRU's website splash page seems to indicate otherwise.)

This week, if you buy a select video game from Target in-store (including Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity), plus reserve a select game for $1 (including Pokemon X and Y), you'll receive a $10 gift card. (By the way, this deal happens to compliment Club Nintendo's 3DS XL promotion, which expires April 30th. Don't forget!)

Best Buy is including a free copy of NintendoLand with the purchase of a Wii U Basic system, and they're also offering Skylander Giants Starter Packs for $54.99 each. Free shipping with all purchases, too. Oddly enough, these sales are not listed in Best Buy's Sunday ad, but also aren't flagged as online only, so whether your local store will be offering these promotions, I really can't say. Best Buy is also including a 50% bonus with every game trade-in.

From Amazon, we have another boring week of Disney game discounts and Skylanders bundles, but considering TRU is offering a straight discount on Injustice: Gods Among Us, odds are Amazon will price match soon. Speaking of superhero themed games, Amazon's Batman: Arkham Origins bonus is still live - you'll receive a $10 store credit with your pre-order. This applies to both the console and portable versions of the game, so if you intend to pick up both, that's a nice $20 in credit. Which is especially well timed - Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag is set for release just a few days later.

As always, you'll find over 150 game specific discounts after the jump. Thanks for reading, and best of luck with your game grubbing this week!
