Since using the Oculus Rift I’ve become a little obsessed with it. Part a that obsession involves watching videos a other people using the device, but I have a slight problem with how most a these videos be presented: just the familiar Oculus goggles, no real sense a how it feels or plays. That’s why I like this lad’s videos so much. We pillage t' see what’s happening inside the device, we pillage t' see what he be seeing, but we also pillage a sense a reaction. That’s so important. Also important: this lad be playing BioShock Infinite on the Oculus Rift. I want t' do that. Correction: I want t' play the first few hours a BioShock using the Oculus Rift. That’s not necessarily a knock on the game itself, more a reflection a how I feel the Rift be best used — in the exploration a interesting spaces. Even in this video I pillage a real sense a how engrossing that experience would be. That’s why I enjoyed watching this over 'n above yer bog-standard Rift videos, the presenter does a great job a getting across what a heightened experience he be having. It looks incredible.
