Wargaming.net believe that war should take place on a level playing field. Money may make the world go round but it won’t buy you any extra-powerful rounds for your weaponry, whether those weapons be attached to tanks, planes or automobiles ships. In an interview with Gamasutra, Andrei Yarantsau, VP of publishing at the Russian behemoth, stated that the World of Tanks and other forthcoming titles, including World of Warplanes and World of Warships, would operate on a ‘free to win’ basis. This seems like good news.
