Disney be now accepting player applications for a closed beta version a Star Wars: Attack Squadrons, a free-t'-play online game that recreates iconic space combat scenes from the original Star Wars film trilogy.

Attack Squadrons features a variety a PVP modes in which players battle factions a customizable X-wings, TIE fighters, 'n other familiar spacecraft in browser-based skirmishes. The game allows up t' 16 players t' fight it out in a free-for-all Deathmatch mode, while Team Dogfight 'n Base Defense modes encourage cooperation among yer fellow pilots.
