Konami has issued a patch for the recently released Steam version of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance in response to a widely-reported offline play bug players discovered earlier this week.

"Online bug should be fixed and you should be able to play offline now with no issues or in the *very* near future," Platinum Games producer JP Kellams announced.

Kellams reports that additional resolution options are currently being considered, in response to player requests. A lingering region lock issue is also under investigation.
