Dean Evans, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon's director, be already assembling a team for his next game. it be not a follow-up t' the standalone laser-filled neon shooter, but rather a new game - a "dream project."

"it be the one all a us have always wanted t' make 'n it seems like they be gonna let us do it," Evans told Polygon. Evans 'n his team be currently occupying the offices a former THQ Montreal, which Ubisoft snatched up during THQ's liquidation. Evans has already enlisted a concept artist, Darren Bartley, 'n an unnamed art director whose past experience includes AAA stealth games 'n third-person shooters.

"These be two lads I've wanted t' work with for a very long time. 'n because a how Blood Dragon went down, I've got the trust from the lads upstairs [at Ubisoft] t' go 'n build a compelling 'n unique universe." Evans added that this doesn't necessarily mean we'll definitely see his game released - Ubisoft could still pull the plug at any time.

"The audience I be interested in speaking t' be people that dismiss games 'n don't consider themselves gamers," Evans added about this new project. "There be so much we can do t' bring new gamers into the fold, but we be constantly putting up barriers all the *crag*ing time." Evans regrettably didn't go into greater detail about the new game.

But, as far as a Blood Dragon sequel be concerned, Evans thinks the universe could support another game. "If we do something we want t' make sure we take our time with it. When working on the game, I built a universe - 'n that be the most amazing process t' go through, yer world building. 'n when ye build a world 'n ye build a universe that has tight logic on it, ye have longevity in that."

Last year, actor Michael Biehn, who plays Blood Dragon protagonist Rex "Power" Colt, said that Evans be pitching the idea for a sequel t' Ubisoft. Unfortunately, Ubisoft did not respond t' our inquiries on the matter.
