Coming from Natsume...
We have a long history with Taito (now a subsidiary of Square Enix), and have released quite a few of their titles in the United States, such as Bust-A-Move 4, Lufia II, and Lufia: Curse of the Sinistrals. Since we know a little tricky to navigate who owns what, we’ll clarify that the Lufia trademark is owned by Taito, and we would need to go back to them if we ever wanted to re-release Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals.
A lot of people think of Natsume as only a publisher, but that’s not the whole story. It’s not widely known, but we actually worked with Neverland to co-develop Lufia: The Legend Returns for the Game Boy Color. The Lufia series has always had a special place in our heart, and we were deeply saddened to hear the closing of Neverland… They were masters of crafting story-driven RPGs.
